John has a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and over 20 years of experience as a writer and media producer in the marketing/advertising, entertainment and publishing fields. He writes about pop culture, lifestyle, social justice, LGBTQ issues and human interest topics that promote discussion and provide insight into our culture and how to make the world a better place... with the tiniest hint of snark on the side.
John has also worked extensively as an actor and producer in film and television, has dabbled in stand-up comedy, writes humor and personal essays in his sporadic but thrilling newsletter, and is currently at work on a memoir.
When he is not writing, John gets run ragged (in a good way) by his nieces and nephews, hikes and camps, and is constantly trying to get back into yoga.
